Week 23, Gosford City Bowl

The division bowled 17 pins under average at Gosford with 5 200 games and 1 600 series. The high game went to David Chi with 224, 216 & 213 followed by Luke McMahon 204, Peter Daly 201, Michael Campbell 197, Robert Ellison 195, Josh Vanderkolk 192 and Peter again 188 & 186. The series went to David 653, Peter 575, Luke 516, Michael 509, Garry Graham 496, Josh and David Blevins 489, Jared Kirkland 463, Robert 457 and Les Dunn 450. The ladies high game went to reserve Hayley van Bueren 185 & 172, Cindy Bonaccorso 170, Rebbeccanne Farr 169, Hayley again 166, Debbie van der Meer 163, Cindy again 160, Jodie Terry 156 & 153 and Rebbeccanne again 149. The series went to Hayley 523, Cindy 457, Rebbeccanne 455, Debbie 442, Jodie 437, Jasmine Hall 422 and Theresa Boyle 411.

Leaders Windsor Fireballs won 14½ - 2½ against 3rd place Tenpin City Cartel and increased their lead as 2nd place Windsor Rattlers lost 12½ - 4½ against Windsor Ducks. 4th place Gosford Grenades won 12-5 and moved up to 3rd spot as Ducks dropped down to 4th. Bateau Bay Burglars scored 10 on the bye. The high game went to Ducks 686 & 676, Burglars 672 and Fireballs 654. The series went to Ducks 1959, Fireballs 1899 and Burglars 1856.


Division 2

Week 24, Bowlarama Wetherill Park

The division bowled 4½ pins over average at Wetherill Park with 1 300 game, 27 200 games, 7 600 series and 1 700 series. The high game went to Mat Anderson with a perfect 300, followed by Derek Kellard 268, Mat again and Robert Ciacciarelli 256, Al Wilson 254, Josh Corbet 245, Mat again 237, Michael Pipe 235, Wolf Miller 233 and Daniel Staples 231. The series went to Mat 793, not only bowling the high for the season, but breaking the record for Div 2 which has been at 785 since 2012. This is his 2nd 300 this year and as far as I can see he is the first bowler to shoot 2 perfect games in the same season. He is followed by Derek on 680, Al 663, Paul Gibbs 615, Daniel 612, Michael 607, Ryan Twist 603, Wolf Miller 591, Robert Ciacciarelli 584 and Robbie Fox 575. The ladies high game went to reserve Kayleen Watts with 221, 202 & 191, followed by Louise Morgan 190, reserve Hannah Bailey 186, Melissa Webb 174, Dawnette Young 168, Zoe Bird 167, Melinda Murphy 166 and Melissa again 164. The series went to Kayleen 614, Melissa 500, Melinda 467, Natalie Hanna 464, Louise Morgan 457, reserve Michelle Cottam 442, Sandra Stanshall 439, Vicki Howe 428, Hannah 425 and Kat Staples, Zoe and Maxine Jones all on 414.

Leaders Campbelltown City Chihuahuas won 10-7 against 2nd place Windsor Jokers extending their lead to 53 points. 3rd place Tenpin Twilights lost 10-7 to Wetherill Park Cobras and dropped to 4th spot. 4th place Windsor Jesters won 11-6 and moved up to 3rd place by ½ point while Campbelltown Castaways maintained 5th spot scoring 13 on the bye. 6th place Wetherill Park Wolf Pack lost 14-3 to Bateau Bay Bogans and dropped to 8th while Bogans moved up from 7th to 6th. Bowlarama Bandits won 13-4 to move up from 8th to 7th and Wetherill Park Phoenix also won 13-4. Lidcombe Looney Tunes won 14-3. The high game went to Bogans 784, Chihuahuas 750 and Bandits 749. The series went to Bogans 2192, Chihuahuas 2136 and Jokers 2099.
